Gable's Last Dance

Parker now resides in Michigan with owner Sandra Conn and has been working very hard on his dressage moves. He had great success at his first competition in 2005, earning a reserve champion. More importantly, he is as much loved there as he was here.

Parker's story begins with the exceptional breeding program at Equinox Farm in Vermont. My admiration for World Champion, Equinox Damsel, led me to her full sister, the weanling who became Equinox Victoria. The Courage / Benn Adam cross also resulted in the talented show stallion, Equinox Brigham. Baby Parker spent his early days looking like a down pillow ... needing a little plumping.

The cross of Gable's Central Park and Tory brought together the genes of some very famous morgans: Promise /Benn Adam /Bennfield's Ace /Courage /Nocturne/Serenity Anna Rose and more. The Equinox traits, along with Ellie's contributions, lead to a very pretty, dark coat, compact body, athleticism and most of all, a forward way of going.

Parker played like his dad, lots of all-Morgan flash. At six years old, he was still willing to spend hours a day arguing with the other geldings. Now, working full time takes a lot of his energy, but I know that his charm and his strong individualism still shine through..
