Gable's Honey Rock

(Whit Akers Sensation x Cedar Creek Elegance)

Rocky was only the second foal born at Blue Gable Farm and the first born to Cedar Creek Elegance and World Champion Park Saddle horse, Whit Akers Sensation. A beautiful filly, she has produced some of our prettiest foals. The Nocturne blood through Troutbrook Playboy contributes pretty and size. The trot comes from many of her ancestors, including UVM Promise.
Rocky had a great start on a show career when, as a two year old, she got hurt in a training accident. She came home and eventually stabilized enough to take on the duties of brood mare. She loved mothering her offspring; now she has retirement to fill her time. (My grain first, please!)

Gable's Seven Secrets - 1990 bay mare by Chantwood Charterson, an Elm Hill Charter Oak son. Secret

CFP Diamant Lili - 1992 bay mare by World ChampionRaintree Revelation, on lease. She resembled her mom and dad and was Reserve Junior Champion mare at Indiana All Morgan.

Gable's Romancing the Stone - 1994 bay mare by the beautiful Waseeka's Showtime son, Right Time

Gable's Hit the Road, Jack - 1998 chestnut gelding by many times champion Tedwin Touch of Class Harley is working on a career as a roadster.

Gable's Like A Rock -1999 bay gelding by the Beamington son Windhover Winterhawk. Shamu has his own page. Watch him grow up.

No surprise, we just happen to have "pretty" pictures of Rocky's kids!

Gable's Seven Secrets

Secret is a very athletic filly, who, like her mother, enjoys her breakfast. She works and plays hard. She resides in Michigan with her doting Mom, Sandra Conn. Secret has accomplished wonderful things in dressage. She knows how beautiful she is ... and demands admiration. Bring carrots! Secret has one offspring, Gable's Secret Sun, and is looking forward to finding a very qualified suitor for another in 2006 .

Gable's Romancing the Stone

Even as a weanling, Little Rock was tall, upheaded, and absolutely beautiful.

Gable Hit the Road Jack Harley, as a yearling: long neck, upheaded, growing, wary. Harley's animation and attitude suggested a trotting career. He was sold in 2004 through Cedar Spring Farm. We look forward to having 2005 pictures of him in the show ring as a roadster. How could a horse called Harley not be a great roadster?

Gable's Like a Rock

"Shamu" was a big foal, a big yearling and ....well, you get it. By three years old, he was the biggest horse in the barn. Shamu was so sweet and laid back, he didn't worry too much about herd politics. Actually, he did not believe that there is any place where he was not wanted. The maturing Sham has become a bit of a bully. Not mean, but in need of another big gelding to take on and a "job".
